Creative Art Work: Yellow Sun

Objective: To enhance fine and gross motor skills, and recognition of colors.

You need: 1thick white chart paper, child friendly scissors, white glue, yellow gelatin paper, an adult, pencil, eraser, a rounder (from geometric box)

Method: Firstly make a round circle on the white chart paper. Then leave a inch gap and draw sun rays all round the circle. Then with the help of an adult, cut the circle drawn. Now you will be able to see through the circle. Let the sun rays be there drawn.

Then take the yellow gelatin paper in round shape, draw a circle of the same size as drawn on the white chart paper.

Tell the child to apply white glue on the 1inch gap left, between the circle and the sunrays drawn.

Let the child stick the yellow gelatin paper cut in round shape on the white chart paper.

Your yellow sun is ready! Make a smiley face of your sun.

(You can stick your sun on your window or hang it in your room)
