Object: To enhance intellectual development and recognition of colors.
Take a glass of water and show the child and ask him which color is this? He may say colorless or no color. You then mix red color paint in the water, then ask him again. He might say color red.
You may continue this color concept through a story.
Jumbo the joker was very fond of color red. After a few days it was Jumbo’s birthday. He decided to collect many things of color red, and decorate his house with all the things of his favourite color. On his birthday he got up early in the morning and brushed his teeth with his red toot brush and red color toot paste. He then went for a bath and used a red color soap to clean himself. Jumbo then wiped himself with a red color towel. He then wore a very smart red color jacket and his jeans pant. Jumbo was very hungry. He drank his favourite carrot and beetroot juice.
Jumbo was so happy and excited to see his favourite red color over. He also decorated his house with red color balloons. Lastly he cut his red strawberry cake. It was yummy! Jumbo was dam tired he then slept very happily with his red Teddy bear.
In the same way, kids learn about various colors in play way. Show them various things related to that color, so that they learn easily.
