Importance of free play

The child’s foot does not know it’s a foot,
It wants to be bird, a butterfly, or an apple………….
Let their imagination
Guide their footsteps
“IN THEIR JOURNEY OF GROWTH”

Playing is an integral essential part in early childhood.
Playing helps a child to grow mentally, socially, physically.
Free play consists of various equipments, eg blocks, beads, slate and chalk, puzzles etc.
Toys can also be of make believe play i.e. doll set, doctor set, carpenter set, cricket set etc.
Every equipment of free play has its own advantage.
A child should be set free and be allowed to play by himself.

Children live in a world of imagination and feeling. They invest the most significant object with any form they  please and see in it whatever they wish to see.
