Objective: To enhance intellectual development,understand the concept of science through play. It also develops language skills as a child communicates during the activity.
You need: 4 to 5 transparent mugs, water colors, salt, sugar, Small pieces of dough, an adult etc.
Method: Collect all the things and keep it there.
Allow the child to mix each of the things in the mug filled with water.
As the child is busy mixing, one can ask him related questions. i.e.
Did the sugar dissolve in water?
Did the paint dissolve in water?
Did the chapatti dissolve in water?
Children understand and grasp more by first hand experience.
